Visitor Information

We are a Club and a course that welcomes visitors, societies and new faces into a friendly atmosphere where it’s all about a enjoying your golf in great surroundings. Below are the answers to a few quick questions that come up, but feel free to call us if there’s anything else you want to check!

Bookings for visitors are available as follows:

  • Monday & Tuesday from c10.30 am each morning,
  • Wednesday - Friday from c9.00 am each morning,
  • Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays after 1.00 pm - but only between 1st April - 31st October.

Visitors green fees

18 holes £35 Monday to Friday

Winter Special (from 1 November 2011 to 31 March 2012) - after 10.30am (Monday - Friday) book a tee-time for only £84. This price to include golf and breakfast for up to 4 golfers.

GOLF SOCIETIES are very welcome and should book through the Secretary. We prefer to cater for Societies on Thursdays or Fridays but other days may be possible dependent on Club competitions. Block bookings are normally available after 11.00 am but earlier times may be possible at the discretion of the Secretary.

Society Package

NEW MEMBERS.  The Club currently has vacancies for Full (£800 p.a.) membership - both Men and Ladies. The Club also has vacancies for Social Members (£60 + vat). OPEN WEEK 2012 - June 9th - June 16th  Throughout the week there are competitions, open to anyone with a recognised handicap, that comprise of Individual, Pairs and Team Events culminating in the Prize-Giving in the evening of 16th June. JUNIOR OPEN. This comprises either an Individual Medal (0-18 h'caps) or Individual Stableford (19-36 h'caps) and is being held on Friday 8th June. Further details and an Entry Form can be found on the following link:

PACKAGES: Our club professional, Jude Read, can provide special corporate and society packages such as video or photo of players teeing off at the first, nearest the pin and longest drive markers or all kinds of other enhancements to a group day out! Further details can be found on his website:

DRESS CODE

On the Course - Shirt, with collar, tucked in, golf shoes and tailored shorts and socks or golf trousers. Sorry, no trainers, jeans, rugby/football shirts or t-shirts!

Clubhouse - Smart casual; no jeans, trainers, t-shirts or wet weather clothing

MOBILE PHONES For everyone’s peace and quiet, no mobile phones are allowed on the course or in the clubhouse!

OPENING TIMES - The changing rooms are open at 7.30am, with the clubhouse opening and serving breakfast and coffee from 8am, the bar opens at 11am. Food orders available throughout the day until dusk.
