MEN’S DRESS CODE
Golf Course:-
Shirts of a golfing type with both a collar and sleeves may be worn or golf roll-neck or turtleneck shirt. Shirts are to be tucked in at all times.
Full-length golf trousers, plus 2’s or plus 4’s are allowed. Jeans and track suit trousers are not acceptable.
Shorts must be tailored and of a reasonable length. Beach, cargo style and sports shorts or shorts with a waist draw cord are not permitted.
Sports socks or knee length socks of a single colour must be worn with shorts.
Golf shoes with either soft or metal spikes must be worn on the course.
Caps should be worn the right way round.
Clubhouse:-
Clothes suitable for the golf course are acceptable in the clubhouse with the exception of water-proof clothing, hats and golf shoes.
Shorts are permitted throughout the day in the lounge area but not during formal Club functions. Shorts are permitted in the restaurant but not after 6 p.m. Socks must be worn at all times. Jeans, tracksuits. T-shirts and trainers are not allowed.
LADIES DRESS CODE
Golf Course:-
Golfing shirts with collars, roll-necks or turtle-necks may be worn. Shirts may be worn either inside or outside but must be of a length that can be tucked in.
Golf style tailored shorts and skirts of a reasonable length may be worn.
Trousers of a full or three-quarter length are permitted but sports shorts, cargo style shorts or shorts with a draw cord may not.
Golf shoes with either soft or metal spikes must be worn on the course.
Sports or ankle socks should be worn.
Caps should be worn the right way round.
Clubhouse:-
Clothes suitable for the golf course are acceptable in the clubhouse with the exception of water-proof clothing, hats and golf shoes.
Jeans, tracksuits, T-shirts and trainers are not allowed.
GENERAL
Sunday lunch is a formal occasion and men should wear jacket and tie.
Thursday evening carvery is an informal occasion and men should wear smart casual clothing.
Club matches including Mixed Evening Foursomes are deemed formal occasions and men should wear jacket and tie unless the organiser deems otherwise.
The Secretary may relax these rules for children other than those who are members.
The Secretary and Professional’s Shop have the right to refuse anyone inappropriately dressed access to the course or clubhouse. However, some discretion may be given to visitors.
